Villa San Michele is an exclusive hotel, absorbed in the green hills of Tuscan countryside, among centuries-old olive tree groves and refined vineyards, located just a few steps from Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The hotel takes its name from the nearby village of San Michele in Escheto and from the little Romanic church of San Michele Arcangelo, next to the estate.
Villa San Michele, once an aristocratic villa, represents the typical late 14th century architectural, laid out onto three floors and surrounded by a characteristic stone-made boundary wall. The north facade still preserve the original Romanic archway.
From the external entrance, characterized by an ancient serene stone-made arch with the villa’s emblem, there is a direct access to the old receiving hall and the exclusive Lounge Bar, decorated with a typical vaulted ceiling, elegantly frescoed and sustained by a set of pillars forming pointed arches. On the ground floor we can find the Restaurant (completely frescoed, too) while in the basement there is a wide wine cellar, where we preserve many bottles of aged wine.

The gardens and pool
10.000 square meters of green: centuries-old plants, colored flowers, the famous camellias from Lucca and a splendid infinity pool set among the olive trees where you can chill out far from the chaos of the city
Restaurant & Lounge Bar
Continuing, you will find yourself in the large dining room, finely frescoed, where Chef Saverio Guardato is ready to delight you with his gourmet creations, the result of years of international culinary experience. For a menu that is anything but obvious.
As soon as you arrive at Villa San Michele you will be enfolded by the warmth of our lounge bar, situated in the refined and elegant hall. The suffused lights, the frescos of the 15th century and the view on the external court, in the middle of our wonderful garden, contribute to create an exclusive atmosphere that will immediately make it a point of reference for our guests but also a comfortable meeting place for passing visitors.
Relax for your furry friends too
Dogs, cats, and other pets of small size can stay with you at our hotel by paying a supplement. Your animal friends will stay under your control during all the period of your stay. We count on your collaboration to handle the pet in the common area of the hotel and to coordinate the cleaning with us. For this reason, at the moment of the booking, it’s important to inform the hotel about the presence of a pet.

Covid-19 Protocol
Safety, attention and thoughtfulness towards our Guests are the orders of the day. We follow scrupulously all the laws of Ministry of Health: our Staff always wears masks and keeps the distance. All our rooms are disinfected with chlorine products, and at breakfast time, a waiter serves our Guests from the buffet.
